Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The purpose of the Hagan Scholarship is to provide each recipient with the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education and graduate debt free, and to provide a practical understanding of important life skills not typically taught as a part of the school curriculum. 

Recipient must:

*graduate college within four years

*achieve a 3.00 GPA each semester and maintain a 3.25 CGPA after the first semester

*complete thirty on-campus credit hours each academic year, excluding summer school

*fulfill ALL recipient responsibilities, and attnd the free workshop in July each year

Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has partnered with the College Board to increase scholarship opportunities for students who have taken the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT.

The Cooke Foundation provides one of the largest scholarships in the country for high-achieving students with financial need.

Kentucky Association of School Business Officials (KASBO) 

Kentucky Association of School Business Officials (KASBO) awards $2,500 to three Kentucky high school graduating seniors who will major in business or education.

Horse Farm Workers' Educational Assistance Scholarship

* Senior

*Who is a child of a full-time thoroughbred horse farm employee in central Kentucky 

*Has been accepted to the University of Kentucky as a first generation college attendee from their family

-may be eligible for one of several special scholarships

All applicants must have completed the FAFSA application to be considered.

University of Kentucky

Athletic Training Scholarship

The University of Kentucky is looking for qualified high school seniors who are interested in working as a student athletic trainer.  Their goal each year is to bring in students who have an interest in a career in the medical field (i.e. athletic training, physical therapy, nursing, pre-med, etc.) and expose them to the profession of athletic training and sports medicine. 

Scholarships are available after a student completes one year in the program.  Scholarships are awarded based on a student's performance in the athletic training room and the classroom.


Senior who holds a 2.75 or above cumulative GPA

The Kentucky Federation of Republican Women grants a $1,500.00 scholarship to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party.  The qualified applicant will graduate from a Kentucky high school in 2019, is or will be a registered Republican and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky.


*Completed Application Form

* A one-page typed essay about a Republican woman you admire or who has influenced your life and why

*An official copy of your high school transcript

*Two letters of recommendation

Larry G. Blackford Jr Memorial Scholarship

Any Wood ford County or Fayette County resident who is a high school senior and planning on
continuing his or her education in Media or Music may apply for this scholarship.

The Larry G. Blackford Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two recipients for the amount of
$1000.00 each.
