Welcome to Woodford County Middle School

Parents and guardians,

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I want to welcome you to Woodford County Middle School. WCMS is dedicated to providing instruction that challenges your child to grow in all academic areas.

Woodford County Middle School serves the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students of Woodford County in developing academic excellence, positive self-esteem, physical well being, and responsible citizenship. Our curriculum is centered on the core subjects of literature, mathematics, science, and social studies. Each semester, students rotate through a curriculum of art, foreign language, music, chorus, band, orchestra, agriculture, technology education, physical education, and health.

Our faculty and staff believe that learning is a life-long process and that the middle school years are critical to this academic journey. Our goal is to provide a program of studies that helps students understand themselves, their world, and others.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the rest of the school year.

Sincerely,

Blake Konny
