Based on guidance from Governor Andy Beshear and a recent opinion from Attorney General Daniel Cameron, the Woodford County Board of Education will hold its meeting scheduled for March 23, 2020, utilizing video teleconference. Conducting a meeting via video teleconference will make this meeting a special meeting of the Board. All requirements for such are being followed.
The physical location of the meeting will be closed to the public except for necessary staff and media. The public will have two ways to view the meeting in real-time. First, you may join the virtual meeting via “Google Hangout Meets.” This platform allows for up to 250 people to join the video conference. A second option is to watch the meeting through the Facebook live stream on our district Facebook page (Woodford County Schools). The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23rd. There will be no public comment.
All Board members and the Superintendent will be seen and heard throughout the entire meeting with both of these options.
