Upcoming Community Events

Hello WCPS!

We want to make you aware of upcoming school events for our students, families, and community members. They'll provide fun for all ages!

• TONIGHT! Wednesday, September 10: We will hold a ribbon cutting at 4:30 PM for the new Woodford County High School athletic facility. We can't wait to celebrate this beautiful, new facility and the expansion of opportunities for our students. The ribbon cutting will be a wonderful event with representation of many student sports and activities. We hope you stay for the WCHS Girls Soccer games. It's the first game on this new field! Junior Varsity starts at 6:15 PM, and Varsity starts at 8:00 PM. All WCPS students and children receive free entry into the games!
• Friday, September 12: WCPS is hosting a Wellness Fair from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Community Stadium. You don't want to miss learning about all of the community resources available to you and your family. Join us for games and giveaways before you cheer on the Yellow Jackets! 
• Saturday, September 13: Come to the Kids' Safety Fair on Saturday! It's from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the WCPS Central Office (180 Frankfort Street). Come see Emergency Services vehicles and talk to Emergency Services professionals!
